AMBIT NEW MEDIA started life officially in 1998. But the company was created from a computer graphics and animation business that was founded in 1986.

From our original skills in video graphics and computer technology we added multimedia and CD-Rom production as these became mainstream. With the arrival of the Internet we added competencies in server technology and in web-site design and build.

So we go back to the start of the computer revolution - and we've developed our skills along the way. At the heart of our philosophy are two emphases:

First we aim to combine excellent design with technical strength. The new media field needs both.

Second we seek to know our clients well through small local offices, but link these together effectively so that we have a national presence and the necessary range of skills available to all centres.

This approach has allowed us to build a healthy portfolio with a wide variety of clients.
