The use of video is now accepted as effective and value for money, not only compared to the cost of injury or illness, but also in comparison to other methods of achieving the same goals.
Health and Safety videos, as with training in general, lend themselves to presentation in a multimedia format. In critical situations this approach allows validation of the training by incorporating testing and evaluation.
SYNOPSIS This programme provides a very sharp lesson in paying attention to danger. In the extract shown here three work colleagues are preparing for the days activities, but within minutes one of them is dead by the roadside.
