We are committed to continuous improvement in environmental performance and to timely modification of any of our working practices where improvements are or become desirable.
OFFICE AND STUDIO WORK
Almost all our business is conducted in an office or studio environment, in which we express our environmental concern by:
- recycling materials when possible.
- using recycled materials when possible.
- economical use of power (e.g. switching off items not in use).
- using paperless methods to the maximum (e.g. by not unnecessarily printing documents).
- encouraging home working and teleconferencing when feasible.
PROJECT SUPPORT
- We offer a discount to organisations undertaking projects aimed at protecting the environment and promoting quality of life.
PROJECT REFUSAL
- We will not accept commissions from individuals or bodies who blatantly lack proper environmental concern or who wish to promote practices of an environmentally irresponsible nature.
COMPLIANCE
- We will always comply with environmental legislation applicable to our type of company. We expect similar compliance from our suppliers and sub-contractors.
COMMUNICATION
- Our policy is to be communicated to all stakeholders by appropriate means.
AUDITING
Sustainability auditing is only appropriate to our types of company in limited areas - we do not manufacture material goods or run water-consuming processes, for example. However, we have a brief informal auditing process, for quarterly use, which simply compares our practice with the above points and specifies improvements.
