Multimedia uses digital resources that allow a complete "mix n'match" approach to text, graphics, animation, audio and video. Multimedia is now delivered via CD-Rom or DVD, by installation directly onto a hard drive or from a server across a network. Less demanding programs can be delivered via the Internet.

Impressive results can be achieved with specialised software and skills. Some examples of our multimedia work can be found in the portfolio section.

But multimedia is not just about presentations. Growth of the PC format has allowed two other crucial developments:

Interactivity allows flexibility in user choices, which in turn leads to greater effectiveness. Many programs also allow for self-assessment by the user, sometimes with recording of results for use by a trainer, mentor or manager.

Integration with other resources such as text documents, databases, image libraries and web sites. This can be especially important for businesses, to avoid reinventing the wheel. The business focus section contains more details.
