We believe that visual creativity and excellent functionality should work hand-in-hand. Of course the balance between the two will vary from one project to another, and it's our aim to get the right combination to meet client needs. A good balance gives the most cost-effective result, with strategic areas prioritised.
Comprehensiveness
Bill Gates wrote about convergence a long time ago. We find increasing demand for such an approach - for example, making legacy data available via the internet. As another example, this approach can enhance events such as conferences through the use of linked multimedia. Look for the ADDED VALUE label in those sections. Our comprehensiveness allows us to make the most of the opportunities that become apparent.
Project Management
We are also well placed to take a comprehensive approach because of our long-term experience in project management, currently using a flexible tailored PRINCE2 approach to our work. We can link in easily to clients who also operate in this way, or map our framework to those who use different methodologies.
Appropriate People
We try to understand each job we undertake, so that our technical and design skills are applied to best effect. For example, if we are working in a scientific context we will use internal consultancy to bring to bear past experience in this sphere. In the case of HR and training related work we discuss matters with one of our team who is a member the CIPD - and so on.
Quality
In the rush to meet deadlines it's easy to assume quality rather than check that everything is up to scratch. We aim to foresee likely pitfalls and react quickly to any that are spotted, whether before or after completion of your project. We are currently formalising our approach with a view to ISO 9001 certification.
